The french have no word for your welcome.....?

Well, at least it's not typical for the french to say that, accourding to my french teacher it's like saying thank you for saying thank you, which, is kind of repetative...so, I see the commen sense in that.

Besides all of that, and skipping to the more direct point of it all------
